I really struggled with using the Bleach London Total Bleach kits. Maybe if I reapply every week for 2 weeks it will achieve the actual white color, if not this still eliminated the black to where I can choose another color like purple or red to my hair!. After the toner it did lift it a couple shades however I would not claim it as “white” hair, still bronze glaze to it and yellowish but not like a penny.
After waiting and waiting to let the bleach sit, showered and waited 1 week to apply the white toner.īefore the toner my hair was 100% bronz-y but not as much as I predicted which made me happy. Of course bleach is bleach so I knew it would burn my scalp but I’m not too sensitive as others so it was bearable for me. I didn’t want to do highlights, tips, half, as I’d look like a skunk so I did everything which means my scalp got the worst of it. I was doing this by myself so it took a LONG time to get every single strand and made sure I got the back of my head too while angling with 3 different mirrors around, if possible I recommend having a friend to help.Īlso reminder always wear clothes you don’t care about when dying hair * I wore baggy clothes. I have a big master bathroom, doors were opened and vents was on and the odor of the bleach was still strong!!! I highly recommend not having any pets, children, elderly near by because this stinks and burns!!! I wore a mask, I should have opened up the windows but I didn’t think.
